The work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:
(a) To implement plans and programs approved by the Board of Directors.
(b) To gather public participation while implementing plans and programs approved by the Board of Directors and to bring clear information about such plans and programs to the public.
(c) Under the greater Janakpur area, public utility facilities such as drinking water, sewerage, electricity, telephone, road, etc., maintaining cleanliness so that garbage does not get dirty, and conducting programs in coordination with the relevant offices of the Government of Nepal, local levels and non-governmental organizations within the area do.
(d) Planting trees, building gardens and parks, developing open areas, protecting wild animals and birds, making arrangements to keep rivers, canals, ponds, ponds, and roads in a clean and healthy condition.< br> (e) To spread public awareness through various means and mobilize public participation to raise widespread public awareness for the safety, maintenance and cleanliness of the pilgrimage site.
(f) To determine the necessary standards related to the construction to be done within the Greater Janakpur area and to acquire real estate according to prevailing laws and to allocate land for various activities.
(g) Establish infrastructures for tourism development in places suitable for tourism.
(h) Corresponding, maintaining contacts, taking cooperation, making agreements or doing other necessary work with the people who are interested in the development of the greater Janakpur area, national or international organizations or institutions under the general direction of the board of directors.
(i) To prepare an annual report and submit it to the council in such a way that the details of all the activities, problems and audit reports are clearly visible.
(j) To perform other functions prescribed by the Board of Directors.
